UFSIN OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF KARELIA REPORTS:

According to the decision of the Head state sanitary inspector of the branch № 164of the Central State Sanitary Inspection of the Federal Medical and Epidemiological Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, in all facilities of UFSIN of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Karelia the long-term visitations will be renewed since March 21, 2022. Visitations requirements will be also changed.

Visitors will be required to undergo a short health check at the facility's entrance. If there is, as well as without personal respiratory protection, Admission to the facility will be denied if the visitor has a high temperature, cough and running nose or doesn't wear a breath guard mask.

Inmates and their relatives will have their body temperature measured and will be examined by a medical worker for signs of acute respiratory viral disease on daily basis during the long-term visitations

Due to the measures aimed at preventing the spread of a new coronavirus infection in the penal facilities, all the relatives of the convicted person arriving for the long-term visitations should have a sufficient amount of personal respiratory protection gear (disposable masks). It is necessary to wear breath guard mask when staying in common areas (kitchen, corridor, etc.).

Please note that compliance with these sanitary and epidemiological requirements and preventive measures applies to children accompanied by their legal representatives for the long-term visitations.
